Troopers responded to a wrecked 2006 Ford F150 pickup at around 4:15 a.m., according to Massachusetts State Police.

The pickup truck was driving north near Exit 7 when it slammed into the guardrail of the off-ramp at a high speed and went airborne, police said.

The unbelted driver, whose name is being withheld until police notify his next of kin, was ejected from the truck, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police closed the ramp for nearly three hours as they cleaned and cleared the crash site.
